Our hotel Wieseneck in Flachau lies directly next to the cable car station “Flachauwinkl-Zauchensee“, thereby offering perfect access to the famous skiing area Amadé and its extensive network of lifts and slopes. Imagine not having to rely on a car or bus to get to the slopes! Such an ideal location also gives you a choice of slopes: on one side of the hotel you have the Zauchensee skiing area and on the other the Kleinarl pistes.

Should you wish to venture further afield, you can take a special bus which travels between Flachau and Flachauwinkl. The bus, which is free of charge, departs every hour and stops at Flachau, Wagrain and St. Johann.

„ABSOLUT PARK“ is a paradise for snowboarding enthusiasts and freestyle skiers. Situated in Flachauwinkl, the mere sight of the park’s halfpipe, new rails and boxes is enough to set any adrenalin junkies’ pulse racing. Another special attraction is the new two-storey CHILL-HOUSE which houses the first “mini ramp” for skateboarders in Alps, a video wall, a chill-out area, and is located at the Valley Station of the new 6 mountain shuttle railways on the shuttle mountain in Flachauwinkl.        

Another highlight for skiers, snowboarders and other winter sport enthusiasts is SPEEDSKIING – racing downhill at 100km/h and more!

And if you are still full of energy in the evening, you can return to the slopes and ski at night! Flachau’s floodlit piste is open twice a week from 6:00pm – 10:00pm.
